Today is the day number 110 of this year long art project. Today's topic is about writing and since it is a prepared essay, I'll be reading it from my teleprompter as remembering the whole text is not exactly easy and I'm no longer used to do that. Writing is something I love to do and something that's incredibly hard. I love to write because the act of writing is for me the equivalent of stopping and thinking at the same time. This act forces me to stop reacting to everything that's happening around me. I know what I'm capable of on caffeine and adrenaline, sitting down and writing anything is opposite of that. There's no rush, no deadline, no anything that propels me to the final product. There's me and the empty page. There are also days when my head is buzzing with ideas and I need to pick one to get it out of my head to a more permanent storage. On those days empty page is not a scary empty space. It's a storage box to store my mess. On other days when my head is empty, a blank page serves as an exploration if everything in my life is as it should be. Empty page gets filled with words of how I am feeling and what's going on in my life. There are no wrong words to use. Even when it comes to technical writing, it's almost the same. On a buzzing day, the posts write themselves. On empty days, I need to check if I'm burning out somewhere else. So before you outsource this daunting task of writing to a thinking machine, consider writing it first. Anyway, that's all I have for today and I'll see you tomorrow! Bye!
